Getting to know the man who'll stand with you on your most important day.
I've always believed that a wedding ceremony should reflect the real people standing at the altar — not a script designed for someone else. That belief is what drives everything I do as a wedding officiant.
I'm based in Lewisburg, in the heart of Greenbrier County, and I've had the privilege of officiating ceremonies of all shapes and sizes across West Virginia — from grand ballroom receptions to quiet mountaintop elopements.
My approach is simple: I listen. I want to understand who you are as a couple — your story, your humor, your values, your faith or lack thereof — and create a ceremony that feels authentically, unmistakably you.
I am fully affirming of all couples, regardless of race, religion, or LGBTQIA+ status. If you are in love and ready to commit, I am honored to be part of that moment.
Before I write a single word of your ceremony, I want to understand your story. The best ceremonies come from really knowing the couple.
Whether it's a crowd of 300 or just the two of you, you deserve the same care, preparation, and presence. No couple is too small or too big.
I can lead religious, secular, or blended ceremonies — and I hold no agenda. This is your ceremony and your moment. I'm here to serve it.
This is my home. I know its mountains, its rivers, its people. There's no place I'd rather celebrate love than right here.
I am duly registered to perform marriage ceremonies throughout the State of West Virginia. My ordination and credentials satisfy all legal requirements under West Virginia law for an officiant to solemnize a marriage.
After every ceremony, I personally file the completed marriage license with the appropriate county clerk's office, ensuring your marriage is properly recorded without any additional steps on your part.
If you have any questions about my qualifications or the legal process, please don't hesitate to ask.
"I help people who love each other get married — in whatever way they choose, expressing their commitment in a way that is true to who they are."
